Generally speaking, it is any spread that theoretically profits when the market moves down. Specifically it refers to a vertical spread.

We do not manage your money, we just provide members with our analyzed personal stock picks (about 10 groups per month of Sector Trend Stock Picks plus others at they become available). Our stock picks are designed for modest gains at frequent intervals while minimizing risk.
